The Stock Tickler ("the App") is a stock market humor and entertainment app developed by Andrew McGlone. This policy explains what personal information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect

We collect a limited set of information needed to operate the App:

• Account information — your first name, last name, and email address, provided when you sign in with Apple or Google.
• Watchlist — the stock ticker symbols you save inside the App.
• App preferences — settings such as dark mode, after-hours mode, and custom emoji selections.
• Joke feedback — thumbs up or thumbs down ratings you leave on individual jokes.

We do not collect payment information, precise location, contacts, or any other data beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To sync your watchlist and preferences across devices.
• To improve the quality of jokes and content based on aggregated feedback.
• To respond to support requests you initiate.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Authentication

The App uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google for authentication. We receive only the basic profile information (name and email address) these services provide at sign-in. We do not receive your Apple or Google passwords.

Sign in with Apple allows you to hide your real email address using a relay address. We support this and will send any necessary communications to the relay address you choose.

Advertising & Third-Party Tracking

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads, subject to Google's own privacy policy. Before any such tracking occurs, the App will present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, and AdMob will only track you if you grant permission.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers (such as hosting or infrastructure) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where you would be notified in advance.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and associated data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.

Depending on your location you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (such as CCPA or GDPR). We will honor any such requests to the extent required.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
